BLOM DEVELOPMENT BANK S.A.L (BDB) was established in 2005 as an Islamic bank in Lebanon. BDB’s mission is to establish itself as the undisputed leader in Islamic banking, a position that is still underserved in Lebanon. BDB’s aim is to set the standards in Islamic banking in Lebanon and its neighboring countries as the trend towards Islamic banking gathers momentum in the Arab world and worldwide.
