How to open the account?

If you reside outside Lebanon and wish to open an account with BLOM Bank in Lebanon, you must physically present yourself at one of BLOM Bank branches in Lebanon, Cyprus, Jordan, or any of the branches of BLOM Bank France s.a (Paris Branch, London Branch, Dubai Branch, Sharjah Branch, Romania Branch) or at BLOM BANK SWITZERLAND s.a in Geneva.

Conditions:
All these locations are habilitated to open an account for you in Lebanon, but all account holders must present themselves personally with valid passports or ID cards (if Lebanese) and with required legal documents in case a company wishes to open an account.

Money Transfer

It is easy to transfer money to any customer account at any of our branches through the network of correspondents as follows:

• If you are transferring US Dollars, you should ask your bank to wire the funds to either:
  Bank of New York, New York
  for account of BLOM Bank SAL,
  Beirut, Lebanon,
  SWIFT code BLOM LBBX, with beneficiary credit details
  or:
  JP Morgan Chase Bank, New York
  for account of BLOM Bank SAL,
  Beirut, Lebanon,
  SWIFT code BLOM LBBX, with beneficiary credit details
  
  
• If you are transferring Euros, you should ask your bank to wire the funds to either:
  Deutsche Bank, Frankfurt
  for account of BLOM Bank SAL,
  Beirut, Lebanon,
  SWIFT code BLOM LBBX, with beneficiary credit details
  or:
  Commerzbank, Frankfurt
  for account of BLOM Bank SAL,
  Beirut, Lebanon,
  SWIFT code BLOM LBBX, with beneficiary credit details
  
  
• If you are transferring any other currency:
  You should provide your bank with our full name (BLOM Bank SAL), address (Beirut, Lebanon) and SWIFT code (BLOM LBBX), and they will effect the transfer according to the arrangements we would have in place for that currency.
